Safety principles
A warm world needs firm foundations. These are the rules the valley runs on.
Community safety
- Mute, block, and report controls are built into chat from day one.
- Chat messages are length-limited, rate-limited, plain-text only (no HTML or scripts), and pass a profanity filter.
- Display names are validated against a safe character set.
- Moderation reports are recorded and reviewed; repeat abuse leads to removal.
- No user-uploaded images or assets in the MVP — everything in the world comes from the built-in catalog.
AI safety (Worldlings)
- By default Worldlings speak from authored, deterministic dialogue — no AI model is involved.
- If a generative provider is enabled, every reply passes input sanitization, prompt-injection filtering, output validation, and length limits, with authored fallback lines when validation fails.
- Worldlings never initiate AI calls continuously — only explicit conversations reach a model, and they are rate-limited.
- Conversation logging excludes sensitive information and is never sold.
Economy safety
- World Coins are earned in-game and are never redeemable for cash.
- Coins cannot be transferred between players in the MVP.
- No loot boxes, no gambling mechanics, no cryptocurrency, no NFTs, no speculative land.
- A future creator marketplace with real-money payouts will launch only after identity verification, taxation, refunds, fraud prevention, and payments-compliance work is complete. It is disabled behind a feature flag today.
Age suitability
- Immense World is currently intended for players 13 and older.
- We do not claim child-directed (COPPA) suitability. A dedicated child-safety and legal program is a prerequisite before marketing to younger players.
